Flowerpots blossoms after OFSTED success

Flowerpots opens its doors to new students this September as it flourishes following its OFSTED success.

Providing day care for up to 40 children at any one time, the Beeston Nursery accepts children aged between 2-5 years of age and is excited to welcome its new September cohort.

The staff team of ten qualified, experienced and dedicated nursery nurses, deputy manager and manager offer a creative and fun environment for children to develop their vital skills as they become more confident and independent.

With access to an expansive garden and outdoor play space, children can let imaginations run wild in a creative and safe place with excellent facilities.  Activities include art, science and structured play.

A multi-cultural nursery, Flowerpots champions diversity and provides care for children of many nationalities.  Nursery staff have received specialist ESOL training to help children and their parents develop their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.  The required seven areas of Ofsted’s early years foundation stage (EYFS), is taught to the children in a variety of fun and imaginative ways with each child’s learning and development based on observation.

Positioned on Dewsbury Road, Beeston, Leeds, Flowerpots is located near the M1 and Leeds city centre with excellent transport links.  The convenient access-friendly site has fantastic parking and a frequent regular bus service in and out of the city.

Janet Spencer, CEO of Turning Lives Around, said: “Since it’s opening in March 2015, Flowerpots Day Nursery has gone from strength to strength and offers a fantastic learning environment for children before they head to school.

“At its first OFSTED inspection it was rated as GOOD by the government inspector and it continues to grow thanks to its team of committed and caring staff.”

The inspectors said in their report: “Staff create a welcoming, nurturing environment and children successfully learn to be independent.  Children make expected levels of progress and develop the skills they need in preparation for school.”

Flowerpots welcomes both funded and private childcare. To find out more information, visit their website here or pop in for a visit!
